WOYWW 130 – Christmas, the cutest time…

Hello Wednesday and welcome once again on the most inspiring day of the week. Today we take a look at craft desks all over the world and find out what everyone creates. If you want to find out more about all this, follow the WOYWW link on the right site of my blog and enjoy.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who was given me so inspiring ideas about Mr. Bones (see my previous post). My hubby suggested stamping him on the Christmas menu cards, but I don’t think that’s such a good idea, because then nobody would trust my cooking and I don't want end up eating the whole dinner, LOL.

Also sorry I didn’t show you my desk for the last couple of weeks. I had to go to my mum's and when I’m there we have so much to do, there’s no time left for the digital world. But now I’m back home and organised again… so let me show you my desk first.

I’m not sure if you call this organised? Busy is, I think, a better word and here you’ll see I’m busy with the same everyone is now busy with…Christmas!  The card I’m working on is a stamped one. At this time of the year I get all my cute stamps out for my Christmas cards and when I visited my mum she gave me two new cuties…! I hope I’ll find some more time to create something with them.

The first Christmas card I want to show you is the one with a “Snoesje” stamp. I coloured this girl with Derwent pencils and Sensodor. The stars are stamped and cut out.

Inside the card you’ll find just part of the girl, stamped stars and a Christmas poem.

The next card is a sort of envelope with two tags inside. On the front you’ll find a ‘button’ with a crystal. This crystal has been gold embossed and finished off with glitter.

On the two tags I stuck design paper, some vintage Christmas prints, gold embossed ornaments and finished it off with some ‘postmark’ stamps.

Have a happy and crafty Wednesday,
xFranka

And yes indeed, all these cards are red. The next time I show you my blue coloured Christmas and winter cards :-D
I hope my cards will give you some new inspiration for this wonderfully seasonal and busy time of the year.

Have a happy and crafty Wednesday,
xFranka

The doorstops are ever so easy to make, I'm sure you'll do a great job! I make a lot to sell, they're quite popular - they are really good on wooden/tiled floors as they don't slip and are lighter than cast iron.
I really love the Christmas star with the text inside, that's so pretty :)
