It has been a while since you’ve seen what’s been on my work desk. Sorry about that, but sometimes time goes by faster than you realise. A lot of stuff, bought at the last Craft show, all still waiting to be stored…(What a shame). But here I am and this week it’s CupCake Time!
At this recent Craft show my friend bought a CupCake stamp so now it’s time to play with it. Firstly she sent me a card where the CupCake has been coloured with Promarkers. A great idea, but I want to do mine with different sorts of design papers. I want to make some real candy cards and the fun part is….you don't have to worry about your weight. LOL.
The yellow CC-card is an easel card. This Cupcake is constructed with all kind of design papers from October Afternoon. In the recipe pocket at the bottom you’ll find a delicious recipe on how to make these CupCakes for yourself.
The blue/white CC card has a small surprise inside. I put this Cupcake on a tiny spring so it shakes a little when you open this card. A great idea I’ve just discovered, also at the last Craft show.
I hope you can really savour these cards and that they'll give you some inspiration to make some for yourself. If you want to see more work desks today, pop over to Julia Dunnits blog by following the WOYWW button on the left side of my blog.
Hope you have a happy & crafty Wednesday.

Lovely Franka - indeed, the perfect cupcake! Love the paper piecing- it works so well on a strong outline image.
Thanks for visiting me! Your cupcake cards are making me hungry.... *smile* I love that you used patterned paper. That takes it beyond just coloring! I really like your banner, too. Do I see special folds on those cards? I may just have to play with that kind of fold!
Have a nice day (or night),
