Well… before I show you my desk I want to say thanks for all the lovely reactions everyone left on my last blog post. They motivate me to go further with the learning process about colouring. You must practise a lot to get the best results but sometimes…. you just want the learning curve to go a lot faster. Anyway, that was last Wednesday. What about this Wednesday?
Some of you may have spotted a different work desk to usual. That's right… I've had to move to another warmer place in the house – the living room. In my craft room the temperature is too low to sit and craft for a couple of hours, unless you want to end up frozen right through (incl. your brains – LOL)
On my work desk you can see my birthday present my hubby gave me last week. He saw how much I enjoyed the colouring, so when we were in town he bought me this beautiful wooden box full of Inktense Pencils. I’m really thankful for this! But now there are so many pencils I have to make a colour chart, otherwise I won't know which colour I need to use! J That’s the first job to do before I can use these new ones.
In the meantime I’ve finished my LOTV card. In my last blog news I’ve showed you the boy that I was colouring. Now I’ve finished both the boy and girl and completed the whole card.
This card has a small niche where the girl sits in. First I made the card and the niche, which I covered with Basic Grey design paper. I then put the stamps on my card and added some flowers and ribbon. Finally I put the separate elements together to complete the whole card.
Deze kaart wil ik laten meedoen met de challenge van Simon Says Stamp - Love is in the air. Het is niet de traditionele zoete, roze liefdeskaart, maar ik denk dat deze kaart voor zich spreekt.
I want to enter this card into the challenge at Simon Says Stamp – Love is in the air. It‘s not a traditional, overly very sweet and pink card, but I do think this one tells us more than enough.
Have a happy and crafty Wednesday.

That is a very pretty, sweet card. I love the way the little boy is looking at the girl...so sweet.
Lovely job!
What a fantastic card you have made. I would love you to give instructions on how to do the recess as when I have done them I have gaps at the corners.
Also I must say what a love husband you have - what a fabulous gift. Just the box alone is beautiful, makes one want to stroke it.
Don't forget to call in and check out my blog candy - it closes late tonight and I should be drawing tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Neet 29

Lovely bi-lingual post! Love the pencil box, I can almost smell them. I always remember getting a new box of pencils and I used to aspire to own a box of Carran D'Ache (?) they were so expensive and my family couldn't really afford them but all the other girls had them so my parents bought me some. Thanks Mum and Dad!

That is such a sweet card. Your colouring is very good. Lucky you to have such a lovely box of pencils. I still get a thrill out of a new set of pens or pencils, and have to try them all out straight away. You are very wise to make a colour chart. I made one for my ink padS recently and I have referred to it over and over again. Enjoy using your pencils. Kate 164 x
