WOYWW 122 – Labels with Stampotique

First of all I want to say sorry for my unannounced holiday. Suddenly I just didn’t have any inspiration at all, so I thought that was the moment to stop a few weeks and take some time out for myself. But a few weeks later, I’m full with new ideas, so let’s start with the first one – Labels with Stampotique. When I was with my friend Sarah, in a shop in Ede, a few months ago I’ve found this really cute stamp. It was love at the first sight:

And when I came home and found my hubby sitting in his striped T-shirt I got a lovely idea. First of all, we had to make some jam and chutneys from our garden fruit and when it had all been put in jars, the real fun could begin.

In this picture you can see the printed labels with the stamp on Kraft paper. I only have to colour them in with my pencils. So why I have given the jam and chutney this special name? It’s simple, my hubby works in the Pharmacy and it feels rather funny to create something that goes into 'all his bottles and pots’... LOL!
So here's the results of a morning cooking and colouring… and sending a smile to the Pharmacy.

Ha! Now that label is the complete opposite to the usual countrified ones you normally see - I like it!! Made me laugh too! I've been given a shedload of apples so will be making chutney too. Now if I can find some more jars....
Hugs, LLJ xx

Hi Franka, nice to see you back - it's sometimes necessary to take time out - and with a new look blog too, very nice. Love your labels for the jars ... the blue and kraft colours are lovely and I like the humour in the name. Hope your WOYWW has been good and that you have a great week ahead. Elizabeth x #75
